Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor (QA/QC)
Location: Aldermaston (AWE Site – No Security Clearance Required)
Start Date: October 2025
Duration: 18 Months
Rate: £325 per day
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee works on a new build facility at the AWE site in Aldermaston. The project is located just outside the secure area, so no SC clearance is required, but all candidates must complete a DBS check and Balfour Beatty People check.
You will be responsible for:
*
Supervising mechanical trades on site (Plumbers / Pipefitters)
*
Ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification, and quality standards
*
Coordinating day-to-day site activities, permits, and H&S compliance
*
Managing and maintaining QA/QC documentation
*
Liaising with the site management team and client representatives
*
Reporting progress and resolving on-site issues
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial / industrial projects
*
Strong knowledge of press-fit copper and HDPE/PVC drainage systems
*
Experience managing QA/QC processes and documentation
*
Good leadership and organisational skills
*
Valid CSCS / Supervisor card
*
Must be able to pass a DBS check and Balfour Beatty People check
