Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join a global manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities
* Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
* Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed
* pumps, hydraulics, heavy machinery and piping especially
* Install new machinery and equipment
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
* Keep accurate maintenance records
* Collaborate with other team members to improve processes
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering preferred
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
* Excellent problem-solving skills
