KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability Sectors. Job Title: Media and Graphics Tutor
Location: York - Centre based
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 3 teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent/above)
Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Media, Graphic Design or similar.
Must have experience of utilising industry-standard Media and Graphic Design software.Duties include:
Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in Media Production and Graphic Design, to learners working towards their NCFE Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
Embedding of Literacy and Employability skills in to lessons.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.Personal Skills:
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
