A vibrant and progressive secondary school in East London is seeking an enthusiastic Media Studies Teacher to join their dynamic Humanities & Creative Arts faculty this September 2025. The Role – Media Studies Teacher
* Teach Media Studies at GCSE and A-Level (AQA spec)
* Deliver engaging, contemporary lessons that reflect the evolving media landscape
* Guide students through both theoretical frameworks and practical production tasks
* Support learners with coursework and exam preparation
* Contribute to extra-curricular opportunities such as media clubs, podcasts, or film projects
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and cross-curricular links (e.g. with English, Drama, or IT)
About You - Media Studies Teacher
* A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS or ECT status
* Degree in Media, Film, English, or related discipline
* Confident delivering the AQA Media Studies specification at KS4 and KS5
* Experience with Adobe Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, Photoshop) is highly desirable
* Passionate about digital literacy, representation, and the role of media in society
* Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills
* A team player, eager to contribute to wider school life
