Medical Receptionist – GP Surgery (BL4 area)
Pay: £15.95 per hour (Umbrella) / £13.55 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Up to full-time (flexible and negotiable shift times)

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join a welcoming and busy GP surgery based in the BL4 area. This is an ongoing, flexible booking through our agency — ideal for candidates looking for consistent work with adaptable hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and providing a professional, friendly front-of-house service

Handling telephone and face-to-face enquiries efficiently and courteously

Booking and managing appointments using EMIS clinical system
*
Processing repeat prescriptions, referrals, and other administrative tasks
*
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records

Supporting the wider clinical and administrative team as needed
Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist within a GP surgery or healthcare setting
* Confident using EMIS clinical system
* Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills

Strong attention to detail and a patient-focused approach

Reliability and flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns
