Locum Medical Receptionist – GP Practice
Location: Chesterfield (S45)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Ideally Full Time
Opening Hours: 07:45 – 18:00
System: SystmOne
Rate: £14.84 LTD (PAYE Options available)
A friendly and well-established GP Practice in Chesterfield is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join the team on a temporary basis, with the potential for ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients both in person and over the phone
Book appointments and manage schedules using SystmOne
Handle prescription requests and general administrative duties
Support clinicians and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a GP practice is essential
Proficient in using SystmOne
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy reception area
