Medical Receptionist – Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible
Pay: £15.95 per hour
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, patient-focused environment.
We can offer full-time, part-time, or flexible working arrangements to suit the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
* Answering and directing telephone calls
* Booking, amending, and managing patient appointments
* Handling patient queries and updating medical records
* Processing repeat prescriptions
* Supporting clinicians and admin staff with day-to-day tasks
* Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with practice policies
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a medical receptionist (or similar role in a healthcare setting)
* Experience using EMIS software is essential
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
* A friendly and professional manner
Pay: £15.95 per hour
