Job Description
Are you looking for a new role and would like to take on the role as ‘Medical Secretary’?
Are you reliable, and do you have a working knowledge of SystmOne?
Do you have NHS Medical Secretary experience?
We are working with a great GP Surgery, who requires a Medical Secretary on a Permanent basis based in the Leeds area.
Duties to include (but not limited to)
* Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence, letters and GPs dictated letters.
* Create Referrals for patients.
* Set up and chase patient hospital and practice appointments.
* Notification letters for Patient Referrals to Consultants within the NHS and Privately.
* Write requesting Patient Authorisation to forward on their medical notes to solicitors,
* Correspondence with solicitors dealing with patients accident claim forms.
* Photocopy Patient medical records as requested.
* Arrange and co-ordinate the Choose and Book system for patients being referred.
* Cover Rookwood Avenue Medical Centre when their secretary is on holiday or absent.
* Carry out correspondence relating to GP Registrars.
Our client requires someone who can hit the ground running and previous experience as ‘Medical Secretary’ with experience using Emis or SystmOne
