Job Description

MEICA Project Manager - Water Industry We are seeking an experienced MEICA Project Manager to lead the delivery of design and build projects within the water industry. This role involves end-to-end management of projects across various values and complexities, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to budget. You will be responsible for managing both internal teams and subcontractors, coordinating design, procurement, construction, and handover phases, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the successful delivery of water industry projects from pre-construction through to completion. * Support the project design and estimating phases prior to implementation. * Manage and coordinate works awarded to suppliers and subcontractors. * Provide technical expertise on the repair, refurbishment, or replacement of MEICA equipment and plant. * Develop and implement pre-construction process plans and monitor progress throughout. * Attend and contribute to project start-up meetings, design reviews, and site visits. * Liaise closely with the internal design and engineering teams to ensure alignment. * Ensure all documentation is prepared and completed for smooth handover and project sign-off. * Administer and manage contract variations including early warnings and compensation events, in line with NEC3 requirements. * Generate project-level KPI reports and ensure accurate O&M and Health & Safety files are produced (using internal or external resources). * Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams (direct and subcontract), ensuring delivery in accordance with project procedures and company standards. * Perform any other reasonable duties in line with the role Experience & Skills Required * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a design and build project delivery role within the water industry. * Proven experience and understanding of NEC3 contract administration and processes. * Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Essential Qualifications * Minimum HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * CSCS card. * SMSTS certification. * 18th Edition of BS7671 (Electrical discipline only).
