A welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Slough is seeking a Mental Health Assistant to work with children who have a range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting positive mental health, supporting emotional regulation, and helping children feel safe, understood, and valued within their school environment. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide holistic support that meets each child's individual needs.
This full-time position is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, or Education, or for anyone looking to build a career supporting children's mental health and development. Previous experience is desirable but not essential - enthusiasm, empathy, and a proactive attitude are key!
