ASAP Start | Full-Time Role

A caring SEN school in Reading is looking for a proactive Mental Health Assistant to support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs. This role is perfect for individuals looking to build experience before moving into Psychology, Counselling, Therapy, or Child Mental Health services.

Salary: £89-£100 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Ideal For: Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology graduatesAs a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with pupils experiencing SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, trauma, and anxiety. Your role will involve providing emotional support, helping children regulate their behaviour, and supporting learning through structured routines and positive reinforcement.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, gaining first-hand experience working alongside teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals in a supportive environment.
