Mental Health Social Worker - Hampshire

Rate: £38 per hour
 Contract: Locum / Agency
 Location: Hampshire

We are currently recruiting an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join a well‑established Mental Health service in Hampshire. This is an excellent locum opportunity offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour and the chance to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out mental health assessments under the Mental Health Act (1983)
Complete Care Act assessments and reviews
Manage a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs
Work collaboratively with medical professionals, families, and partner agencies
Contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes
Maintain accurate and timely case records

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker (Degree / Diploma in Social Work)
Social Work England registration
Proven experience within Adult Mental Health services
Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Care Act
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
