Salary: £52,194 per annum + £1,000 Market Supplement
Location: Haringey
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (36 hours per week)

The Role
We are seeking a Mental Health Social Worker to join our Central Locality Mental Health Team. You will:
Undertake Care Act and carers’ assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and reviews.
Develop care and support plans that promote independence and wellbeing.
Support people with functional and/or organic mental health needs, making effective use of community resources and social care budgets.
Deliver evidence-based practice including motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care and psychoeducation.
Provide guidance on the Care Act, Mental Health Act and safeguarding procedures.
Work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues in health, housing and voluntary services.
Champion the rights of adults with mental health needs and their carers.
Be supported to train as an AMHP, with further opportunities for BIA/AMCP development.About You
You will be a qualified and registered Social Worker with:
Experience in adult social care, ideally within mental health.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practice.
The ability to manage complex caseloads and apply a strengths-based approach.
Excellent partnership working skills across health, social care and community services.
Motivation to develop as an AMHP or BIA/AMCP with Haringey’s support.What We Offer
