About the Role
Cumberland Lodge is a welcoming, 15-bed residential care home in Southend-on-Sea. We are looking for reliable and compassionate Support Workers to join our friendly night team. You’ll work closely with Senior Staff and the Registered Manager to support adults with mental health needs in leading safe, purposeful, and fulfilling lives.
Whether you’ve worked in care before or are new to the field, if you’re someone who genuinely wants to help others, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
Providing emotional and practical support to adults with mental health needs
Supporting daily routines and promoting life skills
Encouraging independence and community involvement
Working as part of a team to deliver safe, person-centred support
What We’re Looking For
A caring, dependable attitude and proactive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work nights and some weekends
Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check (required for the role)
