A supportive and inclusive school in Salisbury is seeking a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. In this role, you will work closely with pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, supporting them both academically and emotionally within a structured and nurturing environment.
You will assist pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, trauma-related needs, ADHD, Autism, and other additional learning needs, helping them engage positively with learning and develop important life skills.
You will work alongside experienced Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and pastoral staff who are dedicated to providing the right support to help every pupil reach their potential.
This Mental Health Teaching Assistant role will involve:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
* Helping create a safe, positive and structured learning environment
* ASAP start
* Salisbury location, accessible by public transport
* SEMH Teaching Assistant role within a supportive school setting
