Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with a growing Engineering Consultancy to recruit an MEP Compliance & Commissioning Engineer based in Milton Keynes.

Responsibilities and duties of the MEP Compliance & Commissioning Engineer role
Within the role you will:
Lead and carry out design reviews, including final Stage 3/4 reviews and contractor submissions
Monitor installation works on site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards
Liaise with clients and project stakeholders, providing updates and technical support
Produce site reports and manage ongoing snagging through to final completion
Develop and oversee Commissioning & Testing programmes and attend key sessions
Track project changes, manage scope creep, and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement processes
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Strong foundations in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
Knowledge of key health and safety legislation and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience using AutoCAD
Awareness of current British and industry standards
Up-to-date knowledge of IT systems, technical methodologies, and information sources
Personal skills
The MEP Compliance & Commissioning Engineer role would suit someone who is:

Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Confident in both office and site-based environments
A strong communicator with client-facing experience
