Job Description
MEP Manager – Data Centres – Sweden
We are currently partnering with an international construction company with operations in Ireland, Germany and Sweden. Their impressive and ever-growing portfolio includes commercial, fit-out, data centres, biopharma, industrial warehousing, retail, residential, healthcare, conservation and education projects. Due to their continued growth, they are actively seeking an experienced MEP Project Lead to join their team in Sweden.
Responsibilities
* MEP Coordination & Integration
Lead the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across all project stages, ensuring seamless integration with architectural and structural elements in a mission-critical environment.
* Design Review & Technical Oversight
Review MEP design documentation to ensure compliance with data centre specifications, local regulations, and international standards. Provide technical guidance and resolve design issues during construction.
* Programme Management & Scheduling
Develop and manage detailed MEP installation schedules in alignment with the overall construction programme, proactively mitigating delays and ensuring critical milestones are achieved.
* Quality Assurance & Commissioning
Oversee quality control throughout the MEP installation and testing phases. Lead the commissioning process in collaboration with specialist contractors and ensure all systems are fully validated prior to handover.
* Stakeholder Management & Compliance
Act as the main point of contact for all MEP-related matters, liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities. Ensure all MEP works adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
Must have relevant degree level Engineering qualification or equivalent
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden
Data Centre experience is preferred
