The Merchandise & Supply Chain Assistant will play a vital role in supporting retail operations within the transport and distribution industry. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to manage supply chain processes and ensure merchandise availability.

A leading product led variety business in the Leeds / Pudsey area. The business sells direct to consumers as well as to large Ecommerce & high street retailers. Due to growth the business is seeking someone to join to work with the Product / Design team.
Description
Navigating and updating our ERP stock management system - previous experience is a plus, but fast learners welcome.
Using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to organise, analyse, and update key information.
Managing and updating accurate data for shipping, purchase orders, and product specifications.
Monitoring timelines and keeping our critical path on track for product launches.
Communicating daily with transport agents and suppliers in the UK and overseas to ensure smooth delivery schedules.
Coordinating incoming stock shipments from the Far East to UK and USA warehousesProfile
A successful Merchandise & Supply Chain Assistant should have:
Previous experience in retail or supply chain roles.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and forecast trends.
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.Job Offer
