Merchandising Assistant
Location: Carlisle (office based)
Salary: £23,809
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our busy Merchandising team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in retail merchandising, supporting the planning, analysis, and delivery of product ranges that delight our customers and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide data and insight to support product range planning and trading decisions
Monitor sales performance and identify trends across locations and categories
Support pricing, promotions, and communication with stores and online teams
Liaise with suppliers and distribution centres to ensure smooth product flow
Assist with stock allocation and purchase order creation
About You:
Numerate, analytical, and highly organised
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficient in Excel (training provided if needed)
Eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced retail environment
