MET Fitter
Location: London UB2 (Full-Time, Permanent)
An established accident repair centre with an excellent reputation for high-quality workmanship and customer service is seeking an experienced and motivated MET Fitter to join its workshop team. The site handles a wide variety of vehicles, from everyday cars to prestige models, vans, and classics, and is continuing to grow.
Package & Benefits
* Basic salary £48,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
* Uncapped bonus scheme – strong earning potential above base salary
* 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday (no weekends)

About You
* Previous experience in an MET / Strip & Fit role within the automotive repair sector.
* Able to prioritise workload in a fast-paced workshop environment.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality repairs.
* Reliable, self-motivated, and a positive team player.
* Good written and spoken English.
* Relevant qualifications (ATA/IMI/NVQ) are an advantage, but solid hands-on experience will also be considered.
The Role
* Strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components on damaged vehicles to a high standard.
* Carry out mechanical repairs where required (e.g. suspension, radiators, air conditioning).
* Work from job cards and complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
* Photograph and record each stage of the repair process.
* Road test vehicles when required.
* Ensure all work is completed to industry-approved repair methods and quality standards.
