The Role 
As an MET Technician / Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician, you'll be responsible for dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring every repair is completed safely and to the highest possible standard.

Your responsibilities will include: 
·Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components. 
·Diagnosing damaged parts requiring repair or replacement. 
·Carrying out vehicle strip and refit work following manufacturer repair methods. 
·Working closely with Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians and Vehicle Damage Assessors to maintain an efficient repair process. 
·Ensuring all safety systems, electrical components and vehicle functions operate correctly before handover. 
·Maintaining accurate records of completed work and reporting any additional damage identified during repairs. 
·Following manufacturer specifications and all health and safety procedures. 
·Delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting productivity targets.

About You 
We're looking for an experienced MET Technician / Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician / Strip & Fit Technician who takes pride in producing safe, high-quality repairs.

The ideal candidate will have: 
·Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fit Technician or Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop. 
·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with a commitment to continuous professional development. 
·Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. 
·The ability to remove and refit vehicle components efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. 
·Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and manufacturer repair methods. 
·A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
·A full UK driving licence.
