The Role 
As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out the mechanical, electrical and trim aspects of vehicle repairs, ensuring every vehicle is restored safely and to the highest manufacturer and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include: 
·Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components. 
·Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs where required. 
·Working alongside Panel Beaters and Paint Technicians to ensure efficient vehicle repair. 
·Completing repairs in line with manufacturer specifications. 
·Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. 
·Maintaining accurate records of work completed. 
·Keeping the workshop clean, organised and compliant with health and safety procedures. 
·Contributing to an efficient and productive team environment.

About You 
We're looking for a skilled and motivated MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a busy Bodyshop environment.

You should have: 
·Previous experience as an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician, Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician, Strip Fitter or Vehicle Dismantler. 
·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with a commitment to continuous professional development. 
·Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. 
·Experience working within an accident repair or Bodyshop environment. 
·A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail. 
·The ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality. 
·Good communication and teamworking skills. 
·A full UK driving licence.
