Job Description
Our Motor Trade Client is an Insurer Approved Accident Repair Group based in Barnstaple and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of Bodyshop productives.

Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our client’s high standards
Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role.
To identify additional repair work and liaise with the Bodyshop advisor
Communicating effectively with other team members
Carry out quality controlsRequirements:
Practical expertise in vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
ATA MET certification
Experience with light commercial vehicles (LCV)
Relevant qualifications in mechanics and suspension
Skills in steering geometry alignment and adjustment
Glazing and minor panel repair capabilities
Proficiency in preparing and priming new or repaired panels up to the first masking stage
Competence in air conditioning system evacuation and recharge
Proficient in plastic repair workFor your hard work as a MET Technician / Fitter for our client you will be paid up to £43,000 with OTE circa of £52,000.
