Job Description

MET Technician Required

  * Full Time/permanent

  * Basic salary £16 - £21 per hour. (Dependant on experience)

  * 45 hour contracts available

  * Monday – Friday

  * NO Weekends

  * Additional company benefits offerd

Key Responsibilities of an MET Technician:

  * Must have experience in stripping and refitting a variety of makes and models of vehicle

  * Carry out diagnostic checks on vehicles.

  * Geometry Wheel Alignment.

  * Suspension and mechanical duties.

  * Stripping and Fitting Vehicles before and after paint.

  * Stripping and Fitting bumpers and doors.

  * Repairing interior Plastics and Seats.

  * Repairing Exterior Plastics.

  * Repairing and replacing steering racks

  * Repairing Windscreens - desirable but not essential

  * Repairing, stripping and fitting dashboards.

  * Dealing with wiring throughout the car.

  * Installing and Calibrating ADAS equipment - desirable but not essential

Requirements of an MET Technician

  * ATA/NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualified MET Technician or time severed within an MET Technician role.

  * Full valid driving licence

  * Previous experience of working within an accident repair centre or with commercial vehicles is essential.
