MET Technician Vacancy In Luton Accident Repair Centre!

 Our client, a reputable and well-established Accident Repair Centre in Luton, is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a leading employer in the accident repair sector, offering competitive remuneration, career development, and reliable working hours.
 
Benefits for the successful MET Technician:

Up to £56,000 basic salary (£24 per hour)
OTE exceeding £65,000 through performance-based bonuses
Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am – 5:00pm) with some flexibility
Overtime opportunities available
Ongoing training and ATA accreditation support
Stable employment with a prominent accident repair providerDuties of the MET Technician:

Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) work on assigned vehicles
Dismantle and reassemble vehicles accurately and efficiently
Conduct fault diagnostics and testing, identifying repair requirements
Fit replacement parts complying with manufacturer standards
Carry out inspections to ensure work quality and safety compliance
Identify additional faults or safety-related issues during repair process
Road test vehicles as necessary under safe and legal conditions
Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard of quality and safety standardsRequirements of the MET Technician:

Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship
Good diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge
Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a busy workshop
Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
