MET Technician Vacancy in Feltham!

 Our client, a reputable independent bodyshop based in Feltham, Greater London, is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for 
a skilled motor trade professional to work in a quality-focused environment with long-term career stability and competitive remuneration.
 
Key benefits for the MET Technician include:

Salary up to £50,000, dependent on experience
Monday to Thursday, 8am – 5pm; Fridays, 7.30am – 3.45pm
No weekend working
Opportunity to work within an independent fleet-based bodyshop environment

No bonus-driven targets, only pride in craftsmanshipDuties of a MET Technician:

Conduct mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated jobs
Perform dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
Reassemble vehicles, replacing parts as necessary
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure safety and compliance
Identify faults or work deemed advisable for safety considerations
Carry out road tests in a safe and legal manner to check vehicle roadworthinessRequirements of the MET Technician:

Strong mechanical, electrical, and trim system knowledge
Experience working with commercial or HGV vehicles highly desirable
Attention to detail and quality awareness
Good communication skills
Ability to multitask efficiently
