Job Description

Are you an experienced MET Technician seeking a new opportunity in Newcastle? We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable Accident Repair Centre in Newcastle for a skilled MET Technician. 

This MET Technician role offers one of the best remuneration packages in the region and secure employment with a leading industry employer.

Basic salary up to £51,160
Excellent On Target Earnings (OTE) potential
Monday to Friday working hours, 8am-5pm

Opportunities for career progression and developmentDuties as a MET Technician:

Conduct mechanical repairs and bodywork on assigned vehicles
Dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
Re-assembly of vehicles with new or repaired parts
Carry out inspections and testing to ensure safety and quality standards
Identify faults and recommend necessary work
Road test vehicles to verify repairs and safety compliance
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiencyRequirements:

Proven experience as a MET Technician
Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
Good communication skills
Ability to multi-task effectively
ATA accreditation would be advantageous but not essential
