Are you an experienced Vehicle MET Technician seeking a new opportunity in Cheltenham? Our client, one of the UK’s leading automotive accident repair groups, is currently recruiting for a Vehicle MET Technician to join their busy centre. Competitive hourly rate of £17-20, with potential earnings up to £70,000 annually through bonuses
Flexible working hours; 40 or 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times from 7:00am

Dismantling and reassembling vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer methods
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and performing necessary repairs
Using the latest technology and equipment to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
Liaising with team members to support a seamless repair process
Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment
Supporting the repair team during busy periods and prioritising workload effectivelyRequirements of the MET Technician:

Recognised qualification in automotive MET/vehicle body repair or actively working towards an IMI qualification; individuals without formal qualifications but with substantial vehicle body repair or strip and fit experience will also be considered
Experience in vehicle dismantling, reassembly, and fault diagnosis
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Ability to follow manufacturer and company standards on job cards
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and within a team
