Job Description
Role: MET Technician
Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours a week
Pay: £45k - £55k Basic (Depending on Experience) + Bonus
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an MET Technician to join one of our longstanding clients, a brilliant Accident Repair Centre in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

The Role:
* Strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components
* Remove and store vehicle parts, fluids, and gases safely and in line with job specifications
* Re-assemble vehicles post-repair ensuring correct alignment and quality finish
* Carry out 4-wheel alignment and mechanical repairs as required
* Identify and report faults or defects during the repair process
* Conduct safety and quality checks, including warning light diagnostics and beam settings
* Ensure all repairs follow the correct manufacturer repair methods (e.g., e-scribe)
* Log torque settings and safety-critical component checks
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, using protective covers in all vehicles
* Follow health & safety and PAS125 procedures
* Complete documentation and job cards accurately
The Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in MET or vehicle body repairs
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong mechanical, suspension, and electrical system knowledge
* Experience using computerised alignment systems
* Air conditioning and encapsulated glass qualifications (preferred)
* ATA qualifications (beneficial but not essential)
* Team-oriented with a proactive and flexible attitude
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
