MET Technician
Location: Exeter
Earnings: OTE £50k – £60k

We are looking for an experienced MET Technician to join our busy accident repair centre in Exeter. If you’re passionate about high-quality vehicle repair and take pride in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, this is an excellent opportunity to further your career.
Key Responsibilities
Strip and rebuild vehicles as per estimates and repair methods
Diagnose faults and carry out corrective work
Refit components and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition
Work closely with estimators, parts departments, and workshop control to meet deadlines
Report additional faults and advise workshop controller as required
Maintain accurate job card notes and follow procedures correctly
Ensure parts are ordered and returns managed appropriately
Apply a “right first time” approach to every repair
Requirements
Proven experience as an MET Technician in a bodyshop or vehicle repair setting
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet efficiency targets
Full UK/EU driving licence (essential)
Industry-recognised qualifications (desirable)
Good teamwork, communication, and proactive attitude
