Job Description
Job purpose:
The purpose of the role is to fabricate/weld steelwork , architectural metalwork to fabrication drawings to BS EN 1090-1 standards.
Responsibilities:
Weld and fabricate metal components to technical drawings and instructions.
Cut, shape, assemble and fit metal components using fabrication equipment and tools and various welding techniques, factory tools and equipment.
Read and understand blueprints, and technical drawings.
Perform quality checks.
Maintain welding equipment and tools.
Adhere to H&E guidelines.
Skills and requirement:
MIG/TIG/MMA Welding technique experience is a MUST.
MUST be proficient in working with Stainless and aluminium.
Be able to fabricate and assemble metal components.
Confident using hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication.
C/B Forklift license desirable.
