Job Title: Metal Fettler
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Profit-Related Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week – Rotating Early & Late Shifts (Monday to Friday)

Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Metal Fettler to join our manufacturing team based in Leatherhead. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing and preparing metal parts to a high standard using hand tools and machinery.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out fettling, grinding, sanding, and surface finishing of fabricated metal parts
Smooth and remove weld splatter, burrs, and rough edges
Use hand tools, grinders, and other machinery to achieve required finishes
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality specifications
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly production targets
Follow health and safety procedures and company standards at all timesCandidate Requirements
Previous experience in metal fettling, grinding, or finishing work
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
Good attention to detail and quality-focused
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shiftsWhat’s on Offer
Hourly rate between £12.52 and £13.44 (depending on experience)
Profit-Related Bonus scheme (~5% of basic salary)
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

5% employee / 7.5% employer (after 3 months)
