Overview
A well-established engineering manufacturer of stainless-steel food processing machinery is looking for an experienced Metal Finisher / Polisher to join their small, skilled team. This hands-on role involves producing high-quality finishes across a range of stainless-steel components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
• Polishing and fettling stainless-steel components to a high standard
• Working with a range of finishes: Satin, Mirror, Shot Blast, Scotch-Brite
• Using various polishing tools and equipment in a workshop environment
• Supporting finishing work on large machinery outside the polishing area
• Adhering to company safety standards and maintaining a clean work area
• Assisting with on-site installation work when required
The Candidate
• Proven experience in metal finishing, polishing, or fettling
• Strong background working with stainless-steel finishes
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, hands-on environment
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• Willingness to work both in the polishing shop and on larger assemblies
Salary
Up to £15 per year, plus overtime paid at 1.5XBefore You Apply
