Job Title: Metal Finishing Technician/ Electroplater (trainees considered)
Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience plus overtime

Aeropeople have partnered with a global designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices who are now looking to hire a permanent Metal Finishing Technician/ Electroplater (trainees or experienced candidates will be considered for this role) to be based at their site in Ramsgate.

As a global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices they offer specialised services for more than 5,000 components over a variety of aircraft systems with capabilities covering aircraft windings, electrical power, hydraulic components, landing gear and safety equipment.
This position will be working day shifts.
Main Responsibilities:
* Working in the MPBU Metal Finishing section with the following processes, Chrome, Nickel, Cadmium, Silver, Tin, Copper, Phosphate, Heat Treatment, Non Destructive Testing (Nital Etch) and other associated processes.
* Daily tasks include electroplating a variety of components from a wide selection of different aircraft platforms. Plating processes include Cadmium, Nickel, Chrome, Silver, Tin, Copper and Phosphate.
* Help monitor and maintain stock levels of chemicals and consumables.
* Carry out daily, weekly and monthly control checks.
* Maintain the 5S standard required.
* Ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with EASA, FAA and company procedures.
* Ensure you are working in accordance with the relevant Environmental, Health and Safety requirements for working in MPBU, specifically the plating bay.

About You:
* Numerate and literate - minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
