Responsibilities:
We are seeking an adept metals trader/buyer with a proven track record in procuring alloys and waste non-ferrous metal. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing scrap, non-ferrous metal for our client's multi-million-pound, purpose-built facility.
You will liaise with the Regional Manager daily concerning specific market conditions and commercial requirements.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as a non-ferrous metal buyer/trader, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the non-ferrous metal and scrap metal waste market. Proficiency in product grading is essential. Our client seeks an individual who is highly driven and focused, with a keen eye for sourcing the right materials. The ability to identify opportunities for business expansion and increased tonnage is paramount.
