Our client, a market-leading manufacturing business known for its innovation and excellence, is seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join their expert team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic production environment, working with state-of-the-art equipment and playing a key role in ensuring products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and program advanced metrology equipment including CMMs, laser scanners, and other precision instruments.
Perform dimensional inspections of components to ensure compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
Generate detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate measurement data records.
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities related to quality assurance.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to drive product excellence.About You:
Previous experience in a metrology, inspection, or quality control role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Proficient in using CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Mitutoyo MCOSMOS, or similar).
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and measurement principles.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable).What’s on Offer:
