Do you have experience operating a CMM? Do you possess a good understanding of metrology? If so, our client, a leading plastics manufacturer, is recruiting for a Metrology Technician. The role will be responsible for ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing processes through advanced measurement techniques and tools.

Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 16:00, Friday 07:00 – 13:00 (40 hours)

Job Description
Performing precise measurement tasks using hand tools, shadow graphs, CMMs, and portable arms with scan capability.
Creating and analysing professional measurement reports (e.g., FAIRS/ISIR) to meet internal and external customer standards.
Writing, editing, and optimising measurement programs using PCDMIS software, ensuring high-quality standards.
Supporting NPI, tooling, manufacturing, and quality departments with metrology activities and GD&T expertise.
Promoting best practices and continuous improvement in measurement processes.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Experience operating a CMM
Good understanding of metrology
Proficiency in GD&T, dimensional analysis, and first principle measurement techniques.
