Are you a fluent and enthusiastic MFL Teacher with a specialism in Spanish, eager to inspire a love for language and culture in young people? A leading Independent school in Islington is seeking a dynamic individual for a part-time, temporary position, starting as soon as possible. This is a brilliant opportunity for a dedicated MFL Teacher to contribute to a successful MFL department and foster linguistic proficiency. As an MFL Teacher, you will immerse students in Spanish culture. We are looking for an inspiring MFL Teacher. This MFL Teacher role is vital to our school.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging MFL Teacher lessons with a focus on Spanish to Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially 5 (A-level).
* Foster a stimulating and immersive learning environment for linguistic acquisition and cultural understanding.
* Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-level Spanish examinations, with a strong emphasis on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress in MFL (Spanish), providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding and fluency.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or demonstrable experience in a similar independent school setting, with a specialism in Spanish.
* Demonstrated experience teaching MFL Teacher lessons with a focus on Spanish at secondary key stages.
* A strong and comprehensive knowledge of Spanish language, culture, and effective teaching methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex grammatical ideas clearly and engagingly to students.
