GSL Education are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield. Whether you specialise in French, Spanish, German, or another modern language, this is a fantastic opportunity to help students develop confidence in communication and cultural understanding.
Role Overview:
As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages, developing students’ skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You will foster a learning environment that promotes curiosity, respect for other cultures, and enjoyment of languages.
Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality language lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Inspire pupils to develop fluency and enthusiasm for learning a new language.
Assess student progress and provide effective feedback and support.
Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities.
Contribute to extra-curricular language-based clubs and enrichment activities.
Maintain a well-structured and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for the MFL Teacher role:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
Experience teaching MFL in a UK school.
Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills.
A genuine passion for language learning and intercultural education.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
