GSL Education are currently seeking a dynamic and committed Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming school in Swinton. Role Overview:
As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality language lessons across Key Stages. You’ll foster a love for languages, build pupils’ confidence in speaking and writing, and promote cross-cultural understanding in a vibrant classroom setting.
Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher:
Deliver engaging and differentiated MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Inspire students to develop language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, offering regular feedback and support.
Prepare students for exams and provide tailored support for those needing additional help.
Promote a classroom environment that values diversity and global citizenship.
Work collaboratively with department colleagues to enrich the language learning experience.
Requirements for the MFL Teacher role:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
Experience teaching MFL in a UK school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A genuine enthusiasm for languages and international education.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
