Reeson Education - MFL Teacher (Maternity Cover) - January 2026 Start
Reeson Education is excited to be recruiting a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is a maternity cover position starting January 2026, running through the Spring and Summer Term.
We are looking for an MFL Teacher who is ambitious for students and has a clear vision for enhancing the role of Modern Foreign Languages within the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities - MFL Teacher
As an MFL Teacher, you will:
Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Maintain high standards of work, behaviour, and attitudes in the classroom and across the school.
Teach a varied curriculum to students across different year groups and abilities.
Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with the Head of Department and colleagues to develop teaching materials and strategies.
Contribute positively to the inclusive and supportive school culture.
Ideal Candidate - MFL Teacher
The ideal MFL Teacher will be:
A qualified teacher with experience in delivering MFL across KS3 and KS4.
Passionate about languages and committed to inspiring students.
