MFL Teacher Job - Maternity Cover
Start date: 27th October 2025
End date: July 2026
Minimum of 3 days or full-time depending on availability
Teaching KS3 Spanish & Year 7 FrenchWe are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in West-Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher to cover maternity leave from October Half Term. This is a part-time job working minimum of 3 days a week until the end of the academic year. Full-time is an option for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
Delivering engaging and creative MFL lessons.
Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
Recent experience teaching Spanish and/or French at secondary school level.
Strong behaviour/classroom management.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
