MFL Teacher of French and/or Spanish - Maternity Cover

Reeson Education is currently recruiting for a MFL Teacher of French and/or Spanish to cover a maternity leave at a well-regarded secondary school in the Southampton area. In addition to this specific vacancy, we work with a number of other schools across Hampshire and the surrounding areas, offering a variety of MFL teacher roles for both short-term and long-term placements.
About the Role:
As a MFL Teacher of French and/or Spanish, you will:
Deliver a broad, balanced and engaging MFL curriculum
Teach students across KS3 and KS4 according to their educational needs
Assess, record and report on student progress and attainment
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Support students' academic and personal growth as a Form Tutor
Promote high standards of behaviour, punctuality and uniform
Participate in school events, parents' evenings and liaison activitiesThis role is ideal for a passionate MFL teacher who is committed to helping students achieve their full potential in French and/or Spanish. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, we'd love to hear from you.
The Successful MFL Teacher Candidate Will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Be confident teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4
Have strong classroom management and communication skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
Be enthusiastic about contributing to a positive school ethos
