Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker - PMVA Essential - £15.60/hr Ltd - North West
Pay: £15.60 per hour (Ltd company equivalent)
Locations:
Various specialist mental health services across the North West, including:
Bolton - Specialist mental health rehabilitation
Winsford - Independent inpatient rehabilitation
Wigan - Mental health rehabilitation and recovery
Warrington - Long-stay and step-down rehabilitation
Ellesmere Port - Rehabilitation and recovery-focused care
Rochdale - Specialist mental health rehabilitation
Accrington - Specialist mental health rehabilitation
St. Helens - Specialist mental health rehabilitation
Shift Types:
Flexible ad-hoc shifts possible block bookings available
Days, nights, and weekends
Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers to work across various rehabilitation and recovery-focused services in the North West. You will support service users with complex mental health needs, promoting independence, dignity, and safety at all times.
Requirements (Must Have):
Previous mental health experience - essential
In-date PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training - essential
Up-to-date mandatory care training
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Key Duties:
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with care plans
Support patients with daily living activities and therapeutic programmes
Follow safeguarding and risk management procedures
Use de-escalation techniques and PMVA skills when necessary
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
