Job Title: MIG Fabricator
Location: Tamworth
Pay Rate: £15.00 – £18.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Day shifts (overtime available)
Job Description:
Our client, a well-established engineering company in Tamworth, is looking for an experienced MIG Fabricator to join their growing team. They undertake a wide variety of fabrication work across different industries, giving candidates the opportunity to work on diverse and interesting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
MIG welding and fabrication of components to drawings and specifications
Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
Fabricating parts across a range of thicknesses from 1mm – 25mm
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Using fabrication equipment, hand tools, and workshop machinery
Quality checking completed work to ensure high standards are met
Supporting a wide range of fabrication projects as required
Requirements:
Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Flexibility to work overtime when required
TIG welding skills would be a strong advantage
Benefits:
