Fabricator/Welder – Team Leader Opportunity
Alcester (relocating near Toddington in March 2026)
Full-Time | Permanent
Up to £18.00 per hour (DOE) + Overtime at 1.5x
Important Update:
We’re now seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder with production management and team leadership experience. To reflect these added responsibilities, we are offering up to £18.00 per hour for the right candidate.
Location Info:
Now – March 2026: Based in Alcester
From March 2026: Moving to a new facility near Toddington
Applicants must be open to this relocation.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on role in a busy workshop, suited to someone confident in welding, fabrication, and leading a small team. You’ll work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium using MIG and TIG, operate a brake press, and help deliver high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
MIG & TIG welding (1mm–20mm thickness)
Fabrication of steel, stainless steel & aluminium parts
Brake press operation
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Maintaining timesheets and promoting workshop safety
Leading a small team and supporting production targets
Opportunity to train on CNC and laser equipment
✅ Required Skills & Experience:
Proven MIG & TIG welding experience
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Strong background in fabrication and brake press use
Team leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop setting
Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
Good communication and problem-solving skills
