Job Title: MIG Welder/Fabricator
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 07:00 – 16:00 (Day Shift)
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent or Temp-to-Perm
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established engineering company based in Redditch. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in welding and metal fabrication who takes pride in producing quality work.
️ Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on mild steel components and fabrications
Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
Cut, drill, and assemble fabricated parts accurately
Operate fabrication machinery including saws, grinders, and press brakes
Carry out quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
✅ Requirements:
Proven experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Confident using hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable with a good work ethic
Desirable (not essential):
Experience with TIG welding
Forklift or overhead crane license
Fabrication qualifications or welding certifications
