TXM Recruit are currently looking to put a team of Permanent Welders together for a rail client in Milton Keynes. The team will be performing corrosion removal on various fleets of rolling stock vehicles; you will need to be able to weld in the following positions.
As a Welder you would be carrying out a variety of welders, including flat, vertical, and overhead on a variance of thicknesses between 4mm and 8mm. Day shift pays up to £38,000 per annum dependant on experience, night shift pays up to £56000 dependant on experience.
The successful candidate must:
Be able to MIG weld to a strong standard.
Be able to pass a rail industry standard medical and drug and alcohol test.
Minimum Level 2 qualification in welding/fabrication.
Have own mask and gauntlets.
A weld test will be required prior to start dates being offered, as well as pass a rail standard medical and drugs & alcohol.
