MIG Welder / Fabricator

Hours: 38 hours per week (Mon–Thurs 07:00–15:30, Fri 07:00–13:00)
Pay Rate: £14.83 per hour
Contract: Temporary – ASAP start until 17th October
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves the fabrication of truck axles using MIG welding techniques on steel sections approximately 8mm thick.
Duties include:

Welding and fabrication of steel axles.
*
Some dressing of components prior to welding.
*
Working with jigs and manipulators (experience preferred).
*
Maintaining consistent production output (approx. 15 units per week).
A Counterbalance FLT licence would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Hours & Breaks
*
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
*
Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
*
Includes 1 paid 30-minute break and 1 unpaid 30-minute break.
