Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team based in Barrow upon Trent. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid background in MIG welding and fabrication who is looking to grow within a supportive and well-established company.
Salary - £31,668 - £33,852

Daily Tasks:
* MIG welding and fabricating steel components from engineering drawings
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and weld symbols
* Using hand and power tools including grinders, drills, and screw guns
* Setting up jigs and fixtures to complete high-quality weldments
* Performing quality checks and documenting any defects or rework
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
* Communicating effectively with management to prioritise workflow
Skills Required:
* MIG welding experience in a workshop or manufacturing setting
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
* Positive, team-focused attitude with good communication skills
* Relevant vocational training or welding certifications is a bonus
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 06:30 – 16:00, Friday 06:30 – 12:30
£14.50 - £15.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Temporary to permanent role
